What would you have become, if you could have stayed in your home country?

"I would have been a nurse by now. I was in my final year when our family ran into trouble with a gang. At first, we could still pay the extortion money, but after a few months, it was just not possible anymore. My uncle and cousin were killed, and we would have been next if we hadn’t fled. I hope I can finish my studies in the US because I really want to become a nurse."
