Erosion

Erosion (2025) is a multimedia project exploring the fragility of democratic principles. At its core is a video performance featuring a rat nibbling away at a reproduction of the U.S. Constitution. Symbolizing the slow, deliberate dismantling of fundamental rights. With each bite, the document is destroyed a bit more, highlighting how political forces seek to slowly manipulate and weaken constitutional safeguards, paving the way for authoritarianism. The project serves as a visual metaphor for the ongoing threats to democracy, inviting reflection on the balance between power and the rule of law.
